This activity allows you to take a moment to think about who you are and what you love.
Draw an outline of a heart and then personalize it by filling in the shape with what you dream about, desire and love. You can use photos, magazine clippings or simply assign colored sections to a corresponding love.
This activity will help you appreciate your individuality, your unique outlooks, and remind you of what makes you feel good.
So, fill up your heart (literally and figuratively)!
We've all been told that when the airplane oxygen mask releases on a plane, we need to put one on ourselves before putting one on a child next to us. That imagery is a powerful reminder that taking care of yourself is paramount. If you don't, you are no good to yourself or anyone else. Yet we often overlook our own needs.
The Creativity Spa created a simple and free Self-Care Checklist (below) for you to download and print. It offers lots of ways you can stop, take a breather and do something a little different. So many more ideas could be added to this list. Email us with suggestions for other ways to practice self-care that we did not list.
